Well, it's beginning to feel like fall in Florida.....but only until tomorrow. It's been in the mid to high 70's since last Friday, and has even gotten into the low 50's at night! It's been soooooo nice to just have the windows open and turn the air conditioner off, not to mention it saves money too!
Ryan and I were delighted to have my parents and sister here this past weekend. On Friday night, we ate at A1A Ale Works (where Ryan had some soup that was "da bomb"). After that, we went to a place called J.P. Henley's that has over 50 wines on tap and over 200 bottled beers. On Saturday, Ryan and I took my parents and sister to see our new house. They seemed to like it, so all is well :) We then spent the rest of the day shopping at the outlets where I got a few things(thanks Momma!). Saturday night, we grilled hamburgers so we could watch the Carolina game. Good game, but not so good outcome :( Sunday, my family left because Lindsay had to get back to school because she had a test on Monday.
So, on Sunday, Ryan's boss generously gave us his tickets to the Jacksonville Jaguars game. They played the St. Louis Rams. The tickets were in the Touchdown Club Level, which was pretty nice, other than it was pretty chilly when the sun wasn't shining. It was a close game, but the Jags pulled out a win (in overtime!). 
Ryan and I have been busy at work this week and have a relaxing weekend to look forward to! Until next time....
Last time I updated was when we went home for Lindsay's birthday! ALOT has happened since then! To begin with, Labor Day weekend, our friends Laura and Kyle came down for the weekend! We had so much fun catching up and hanging out! Laura cooked us a fabulous dinner (Campfire Chicken). And we went to the beach (and got REALLY burnt, or at least I did)! It was so nice to have them down to visit :) 
Then Ryan and I went home for the first home Carolina football game! GOOOO COCKS! So, you know we enjoyed that! And we celebrated Ryan's sister's sweet 16 birthday :) But unfortunately, the trip was short and we had to come back for work on Monday :( 
Next on the agenda was Aimee, Brittany, Casey, and Daniel coming down to visit, and that same weekend Reece got fixed :( It was so nice to see my roomies and their loves! We mainly relaxed and shopped while they were here, which was nice for a change :) Reece was still recovering that weekend, but now he is back to his normal, HYPER self!
The next weekend, Ryan and I had one of his friends and his girlfriend over for a cookout. It was nice to finally meet some new people. And ironically, Ryan's friend's girlfriend is going to school with me at the University of St. Augustine; she is doing OT instead of PT though :) It's still nice that I'll know at least 1 person on my first day of school!
That same weekend, Ryan and I began looking for houses as our landlord as screwed us over (long story, won't get into it on here). We finally put an offer on a house, and THEY TOOK IT! So now Ryan and I are officially under contract. As of right now, we close on our house November 30 :)
This past weekend, Ryan and I went home for the weekend. I got my bridal portraits done; can't wait to see how they turned out! Ryan went to the Carolina game with my dad, and then we cooked out for my nana's birthday :)
I think that is about all that has happened since the last post! I will try to get better at updating the blog....sometimes I just forget about it! Up next: my family coming down to visit this weekend!!!!
