New Year Resolutions

1. Since Ryan and I have moved to Florida, we have not found a church we would like to call "home" so my first new year resolution is to read the Bible daily and focus more on God. I am following WMHK's Bible reading guide to try and read the entire Bible in one year.

2. Lose weight and tone my body. I need to lose about 15 pounds to be back at my "pre-college" body :) I want to try and lose this weight before May because Ryan's family is taking us to Europe for a graduation present. The hard part will be keeping the motivation to exercise while in my last semester of PT school.

3. Be more organized. For those of you who really know me, you are probably thinking how can I become more organized than I already am?? Well, by being more organized, I mean keeping my house more organized. Throw away things I don't need, vacuum more often because of the dog hair, etc.

4. Ryan and I have already started cooking more before the new year, so I want to continue this trend to eat out less. Each week, I write out a menu for dinner so we aren't tempted to eat out so often.

5. Since I will be graduating PT school in April and Ryan will graduate law school in December, I really want to get a hold on our finances. The past 2 years we have lived off of student loans, and the last thing I want to do is splurge my REAL paycheck when I start working. So I am looking for a good way to start managing our finances better, so if you have any suggestions please let me know!

6. Run a half marathon. My resolution last year was to run in the first annual Columbia marathon this March, but with my back problems and tendonitis in my leg I was unable to accomplish the necessary training for the marathon. So, as I'm trying to lose weight this new year I also plan to train for a half marathon probably in the fall.

Here's to the new year and resolutions!

Christmas and New Year's Eve

Ryan and I were able to go to North Carolina to visit his family the week before Christmas. We then spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family in South Carolina. It was so nice to be with both families during the holidays. Here are some pictures:

We then came back to St. Augustine to celebrate the New Year with some of our friends here! Here are some pictures:

Up next: Exit Exams for PT school are tomorrow, so once those are done I'll be posting my new year resolutions :)
