Mr. and Mrs. Chris Perry

We had the opportunity to attend the wedding of our high school friends Chris Perry and Amanda Kelly. We were so happy to be able to share their special day with them! It was also great to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Perry!

GrAdUaTiOn!

So, after 2 years and 4 months of hard work, I have finally graduated physical therapy school! It has been a rough ride and I'm so glad that I have accomplished my goals! I could not have made it through school without the love and support of God, my husband, family, and friends. It has been a great journey and I am so happy to make the amazing friends that I did while in school. I look forward to the next chapter of my life :)

Graduation Party

I took on the responsibility of planning the class graduation party. The school gives the 7th semester students money to have a graduation party. After much deliberation, I decided to have the party at the Groove Cafe. It turned out to be a great success! We had mini crab cakes, meatballs, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken salad wontons, fruit and cheese platter, and tomato and mozzarella skewers. We were also able to have 2 drink tickets per student. Congrats yellow class!!!

Miami

I'm officially done with PT school! So, my friends and I decided to take a road trip to Miami! We had so much fun celebrating, and boy is Miami a "poppin" town! I would love to go back and stay more than a day; however, I need a little more money to spend too (it is an expensive town)! We stayed in a beautiful hotel which had complimentary happy hour :) We then paid $20 a piece to go to a club and have bottle service. Apparently this is a big deal because it costs $40 to get into the club usually. So we enjoyed free drinks and danced the night away since the bars don't close until 5am there. Cheers to finishing PT school!

Finally

Wow! It's been almost 2 months since I've posted! So, I've decided that I'll slowly add the pictures from life lately :) P.S. Today was the official last day of PT school and I graduate on April 13!!!!

So for spring break, Pat and LeAnna came to visit. We went to the Jacksonville Zoo and then went to dinner at PF Changs. We HAD to have dessert at the Cheesecake Factory since it was next door! It was so nice to spend time with them :)

Life Recently

Wow, sorry I haven't posted lately, but life has been BUSY! I thought the last semester of physical therapy school was going to be easy, but boy was I wrong! I have had assignment after assignment, a huge case report, weekend seminar classes, being a teaching assistant, doing treadmill training at a neurological hospital, and taking tests. It has not be a great ride, but I'm just counting down the days until graduation... 54 days to go!

When I have found time, Ryan and I like to head to downtown St. Augustine for some drinks with friends to soak up our last few months in this town before we graduate and head back to South Carolina.

We also participated in the Annual Polar Bear Plunge hosted by my school to raise money for physical therapy research. It was definitely colder than last year when we participated, but it was well worth it! I can't imagine how the people up north participate in something like this. It was 50 degrees or so here with the water temperature in the 60's.

And lastly, our most recent celebration was Valentine's Day! Ryan sent me on a scavenger hunt for roses and my present of a new Coach satchel purse! We then went to dinner at my favorite place Olive Garden. Nothing too fancy, after all, we do have an anniversary to celebrate at the beginning of March :)
