Last weekend, Pat and his girlfriend LeAnna came to visit for the 4th of July. We had a great time with them, and it was nice just to relax for a change. We went to Dave and Busters on Friday night (where we got our fun on, as the boys would say). Since it rained the entire weekend, the girls went shopping on Saturday while the boys played golf. Saturday night we cooked out and had a relaxing night. Sunday we went to downtown St. Augustine to watch the fireworks, which were pretty good. Then Monday was back to studying for me.
Not too much is going on this weekend or this week (other than 2 tests). But, my family will be here next Friday, and I can't wait for that!! We are going to Universal Studios on Saturday! So, until next time...

Back to the Blogging World
So, I haven't blogged in a couple of months, but I have been super busy with school and haven't had the time! But since the last blog, Ryan and I got MARRIED! We are loving every single minute of married life. We had to wait to go on our honeymoon because of my school schedule. We went to Jamaica and had so much fun! We definitely want to go back and would highly recommend it to anyone!
In May, our friends Brett and Samantha had an engagement party in Tampa. We had so much fun celebrating their wonderful occasion! But since then, our live have been pretty quiet! Ryan is starting law school in August, so we've been doing a lot of relaxing since both of us will be in school. I've started my second semester of PT school, and when they said it was going to be the hardest semester, they weren't kidding! It has been one stressful semester. But it's more than half way over!
Well, I'm going to try and keep this updated for now on! But until then...here are some pictures of the wedding and honeymoon!

'Tis the Season :)
Well, it's been a while since I've posted, but we have been super busy! We went back to Lexington for Thanksgiving (and my birthday). Thanksgiving/my birthday was fabulous and I was glad I could spend time with my family. That night, my dad and I went to the Saucer to celebrate my birthday. Then on Friday, I helped my dad clean pools since he was still unable to walk. And boy was that water COLD!!!!! Ryan also bought my wedding band :) That Saturday was of course the Carolina vs. Clemson game. And it was a GREAT game! GOOOOOO COCKS! My friend, Casey, and I chased down the local news station to be on t.v. and they told us we would be on at 6. However, we were not :( Here are some pictures from the game:
Saturday after the game, we went out for my birthday! It was lots of fun, and I was glad to spend time with my friends :) While we were still in town, Ryan re-applied for his passport so we can go on our honeymoon and we got our marriage license!
When we got back to Florida, we had to go to work unfortunately. Then last weekend, Ryan and I bought a new couch :) and his wedding band. We felt accomplished! Now we are currently trying to close on the house. Hopefully, it will be this week. We just have to submit 2 more papers on Monday and then it will take about 48 hours to process and then a turn around time of 1 day for us to sign the papers! We are doing the walk-thru with the builder on Tuesday morning. We can't wait! Until then, here is the finished product of the house:

It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Thanksgiving! (And my Birthday!)
Since the last post, not much has been going on. We went home for the Carolina vs. Florida game, which was a lot of fun minus the rude Florida fans that sat behind us! We got to catch up with old friends, each chicken bog, and spend time with family. That Sunday, we helped Ryan's sister find a red shirt for her DECA competition. Then we had to head back for work on Monday morning! So it was a short, but great weekend!
This past week was just a normal work week. However, on Thursday night we went to A1A Ale Works because they were tapping their winter ale (and it was free). Ryan and I decided to eat some beer cheese soup at the bar too. And much to our surprise, we started talking to a man at the bar who ended up paying for our meal! It was sooooo nice and we were soooo thankful for that!
This weekend we had a lot of errands to run. We had to get more bubbles for the wedding reception, ribbon to tie on the bubbless, my dad a birthday present, exchange my birthday present for a bigger size, get my hair cut, and go look at our new house! I even bought Ryan's wedding present :) Here are some pictures of the house almost complete:
Well, tomorrow is my daddy's birthday! And we are going home for Thanksgiving and my birthday! We are so excited about that! So, until next time....

My BiRtHdAy Month!!!
Our week was pretty unproductive, considering I was sick for the most of it. Last Monday, I went to work and by the end of the day, just felt HORRIBLE! So, I had Ryan meet me at the walk-in doctor's office so I could see what was wrong. Much to my surprise, the doctor said they were too busy (there were only 2 people in the waiting room) to see me that night. So, I decided I would just get up early and go to the doctor's office near my work. I went there on Tuesday morning, and was given a flu test (and realized I lost 5 pounds)!!! The doctor came in at first and told me my flu test came back negative and I had broncitis, and he would go write a prescription for me to get rid of my cough. Well, when he came back in he said right before he threw the flu test away, he checked it again, and it changed to positive. Please tell me how that happens?!?! So then I was diagnosed with the flu. He told me I needed to stay out of work for a week (which would be November 11). I was just thinking to myself that I cannot miss a whole week of work since I don't get paid days off yet! So, I was feeling better and went to work Thursday and Friday. I did Lysol the whole house so Ryan wouldn't get sick, which thankfully he hasn't!!!! *Fingers Crossed*
On Thursday night, we took Reece to a training class on chewing and jumping up, since he likes to chew on wood and jump on everyone that walks in the house. We learned that he tears up the house when we are gone because he isn't getting enough exercise. So every morning when I go running, he is now going with me to get his exercise!! We also learned that he chews on stuff because he doesn't have enough chew toys, so Ryan and I bought him a compressed rawhide bone which lasts longer than normal bones and a "kong" which you put peanut butter in and it keeps him occupied for a while because it takes a while to get the peanut butter out. And we are currently training the OFF command so he won't jump on everyone that walks in the door. This just means we ignore him until he sits down and then give him attention and don't let him jump up on the furniture. Hopefully, all of this will work out and he will be a well-trained dog!
Friday marked the day for 4 MONTHS until the wedding!!! On Friday night we just went and grabbed a quick bite to eat and had a relaxing night with the dog. It was nice to finally have nothing to do. Saturday morning we went and looked at the house! They have the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, the countertops in the kitchen and the bathroom, all of the appliances minus the refridgerator and washer and dryer, and the landscaping done! It is all coming together, and we are soooooo excited! Saturday night, Ryan wanted to go to a car show in Jacksonville. We went, but weren't that impressed. Ryan was under the impression that more car vendors would be there (there were only 3 there). After we left there, we just decided to eat at the food court in the mall because we both wanted something different: he wanted pizza and I wanted chinese food! So far today, we have taken the dog for a walk and I watched the church service online again :) We are hoping this week goes by fast because we get to go home this weekend for the Carolina vs. Florida game!!!!

The End of October
There has been a lot that has happened since last post. First off, my daddy broke his leg on October 23 and has been pretty depressed about that. It makes me sad too because I'm 5 hours away and can't help him with anything. All I've been able to do is give him my expertise advice since I did major in Exercise and Sports Science in college. Daddy was debating whether or not to have surgery because he hates that he can't do anything. He made the right decision and is having surgery this Wednesday, November 4. Please pray for a strong recovery.
Ryan and I got to spend the day at Disney Quest and putt-putt thanks to my best friend, Nicole, for giving us their left-over tickets :) We did that last Sunday and had a blast!! We were going to go to the water park; however, it was only about 75 degrees that day, so we would have been a tad bit chilly.

Also, our house is coming along so fast and now we have less than a month until we close on it! We are getting so excited about it! Here are a few pictures of the updated house (it has been updated even more but I haven't taken pictures yet, those will come later)!

Ryan and I had a few trick-or-treaters, and that was pretty fun, except we ran out of candy before all the trick-or-treaters got throught the neighborhood. We had a lot of fun though. Today, my sister sent me a message about this awesome church service she went to. She told me I could watch it online. I thought this would be pretty cool since Ryan and I haven't found a church down here yet. And how convienient the church series on Don't Get Married Until....just started today. I really enjoyed it and look forward to watching online again next Sunday. Now it's back to another work week :) Until next time!
P.S. It's by birthday month!!

*OcToBeR*
Well, it's beginning to feel like fall in Florida.....but only until tomorrow. It's been in the mid to high 70's since last Friday, and has even gotten into the low 50's at night! It's been soooooo nice to just have the windows open and turn the air conditioner off, not to mention it saves money too!
Ryan and I were delighted to have my parents and sister here this past weekend. On Friday night, we ate at A1A Ale Works (where Ryan had some soup that was "da bomb"). After that, we went to a place called J.P. Henley's that has over 50 wines on tap and over 200 bottled beers. On Saturday, Ryan and I took my parents and sister to see our new house. They seemed to like it, so all is well :) We then spent the rest of the day shopping at the outlets where I got a few things(thanks Momma!). Saturday night, we grilled hamburgers so we could watch the Carolina game. Good game, but not so good outcome :( Sunday, my family left because Lindsay had to get back to school because she had a test on Monday.
So, on Sunday, Ryan's boss generously gave us his tickets to the Jacksonville Jaguars game. They played the St. Louis Rams. The tickets were in the Touchdown Club Level, which was pretty nice, other than it was pretty chilly when the sun wasn't shining. It was a close game, but the Jags pulled out a win (in overtime!).
Ryan and I have been busy at work this week and have a relaxing weekend to look forward to! Until next time....
